- This is not a normal Buddha, first the sustainable suar family wood is selected then cured over a minimum of two (years) drying seasons, then the outline is carved into shape, this takes a solid month of carving. After this the finer detailing is placed and the piece is completed, sealed, waxed, crated and then sent 9000 miles from Bali, Indonesia to us, here in the UK
